Why Clean the World?
Clean the World partners with 8,100+ hotels worldwide to recycle hospitality amenities that would otherwise be discarded. By sending your used soap bars and plastic bottle amenities, including large format bottles, to us you’re preventing millions of pounds of waste from ending up in landfill while helping global NGOs, such as The WASH Foundation, provide vulnerable communities worldwide with access to clean water, sanitation, and proper hygiene (WASH).
THE IMPACT
With over 8,100 participants in its Global Hospitality Recycling Program, Clean the World has, since its inception in 2009, already collected 17 million bars of soap, 7.5 million pounds of plastic bottle amenities, diverted over 25 million pounds of waste from landfills and donated over 80 million bars of recycled soap to support global NGOs’ WASH initiatives.
